On Good Friday, April 7th, there will be a silent walk of witness around the village as we remember the crucifixion and death of Jesus. We will assemble in the carpark of the Mercure Hotel from 9.30 where the hotel have offered us light refreshments. The walk will start promptly at 10am finishing at the Garnett Memorial at approx. 11:15. You are welcome to join us or simply watch us in silence as we pass by.

Approximate timings
Assemble outside the reception of the Mercure Hotel from 9.30
(Hospitality in the form of coffee and bacon butties have been offered by the hotel)
Welcome and introduction with explanation of the walk
10am: Act of Worship
10:05: set off on walk
10:15: enter into north end of Toll Bar Road
10:20 return to A41 from Toll Bar Road
10:25 Arrive at 2nd station (bottom of Trooper’s Close)
