I have received the following message from the headteacher at the local high school. As Mr Jones says below, please do consider lending your support to ensure that we protect all our students and other road users. Thank you.
"You may be aware of the tragic accident that happened in Christleton in August, when a cyclist was killed at the Plough Lane/Brown Heath Road crossroads.
This is a very dangerous junction, that many of us use on a daily basis.
The Parish Councils of both Waverton and Christleton, have been working with other local stakeholders, to launch a petition, that they hope will persuade the local authority to make immediate safety changes to the junction.
